 Promote and support sustainable, culturally inclusive services, community initiatives, and capacity building systems that address all factions of a healthy community for all members. Our mission here in Silver City includes:

• Encourage local, small business and cottage industry growth, with a focus on the Main St. corridor.
• Advocate for restriction of industrial land use in and around our community.
• Develop and support projects that create long term, environmentally sustainable open space and resource management plans including community use and maintaining the unique character of the community.
• Develop and support projects that expand educational and artistic opportunities.
• Promote the use of renewable energy sources.
• Advocate for protections for our community that limit light, air, noise and water pollution.
• Develop and support projects that provide assistance to the elders of our community.
